I’ve written before about my friend Pistol Packin’ Paula and now she’s making a movie!
The Adventures of Pepper and Paula is a feature length family friendly dog movie based on the true story of Paula “Pistol Packin’ Paula” Saletnik and her dog Pepper.
Production started on November 7 and JT Street, with local Fox News affiliate KABB, ran a great story on Paula.
“The Adventures of Pepper and Paula is the story about Paula, a world champion gunslinger and the star of a live action wild west show. She is on top of the world, but when her world literally comes to a crash in the form of a horrible accident, it is up to her best friend, her dog Pepper, to save her.
“Kylie, a new young attractive female cowgirl, joins the cast to help liven up the show. But she’s up to no good and it’s up to Pepper to run that little philly out of town.
“The result is a fun, action packed, heart warming story that the entire family can enjoy.
“We were able to raise our minimum budget which means that we had to play musical money and defer some payments, combine jobs and “borrow” post production funds to help pay for production cost.
“We are in talks with a very well known distributor, can’t say who just yet, and anticipate a signed deal before our last day of shooting on December 8.”
But they still need $30,000 to finish the project. She is asking folks to contribute and you can get “perks” based on the amount you send. I hope you’ll support her!
