Today, July 23, 2011, is National Day of the Cowboy here in New Mexico as well as nationally. Please wear a cowboy hat Saturday and encourage your friends to do the same.
Cowboys and Cowgirls have been an important part of our history so it seems very appropriate to honor the past and current contributions and encourage events to commemorative them.
