If you are interested in antique historical western firearms and Indian weapons I highly recommend checking out Gary Hendershott’s business. Gary likes to say he started collecting when he was 11 years old and has never stopped. Today he is considered one of the top experts on historical items.
Gary handles a variety of items but of special interest to cowboys are the personal and cavalry weapons of the 1800s. He has an amazing collection of early rifles and handguns for sale which all can be seen in his 2009 catalog of “Guns that Won the West”. I especially like a Winchester 66′ rifle on a Henry Stock. These items are not inexpensive but if you are a serious collector he’s the man.
And even if you aren’t a collector the $25 catalog is simply great reading.
